On July 15, 2008 Nintendo surprised the world by announcing a brand new Grand Theft Auto title during their media briefing at E3 in Los Angeles, CA. The new title, named Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, is set in a modern day Liberty City - making it the 6th title to have this city entirely playable in a GTA game, and the 8th where the iconic city makes an appearance.

To be released exclusively on the Nintendo DS in the Winter of 2008, this title promises to deliver the same free roaming experience to a wealth of portable players as we have come to known the series.
