Hi guys I have been doing some work on GTA San Andreas for a while now and me and a few other people across the world has been getting in touch with me and saying the truth about myths and legends in San Andreas,I have a list of the ones below that are true andnot true here they are and if you know of another myth then please contact me thanks.

Special thanks to http://www.rottentomatoes.com for most of the info.

1.) BIGFOOT - supposedly around Mt. Chilliad and the San Fierro airport
- also known for knocking down trees
- screeches like crazy
- It can kill you with one hit but you can't kill it at all!
EDIT - There is no bigfoot.

2.) UFOs - I wanted to see the other towns and got impatient so I hopped the airport fence and hopped on a dodo that was the only plane parked in the lot. I almost go to Area 69 when some object that was glowing all different colors zoomed right by me at 2000 mph and I just exploded! I definitely thought it was a UFO.
EDIT - There are no UFOs. Just some weird lights in the sky

3.) SEA SERPENT - I have heard numerous reports of a lochness monster type of creature in the sea around San Andreas. You have to really fly in the middle of nowhere around the ocean to spot this. EDIT - NO SEA SERPENT.

4.) GHOST PLANES AND CARS - I really don't know how to explain this one. The ghost car mostly occurs in an area know as 'Back O Beyond' near the two horse shoe shaped formations.
EDIT - CONFIRMED. Check out Back 'O Beyond and make sure you have some thremal goggles on the cars when they stop. You might just see something.

5.) THE GHOST OF CJ'S MOM - In CJ's house between 00:00 - 1:00 at night there is a ghost of CJ's mom wandering around the house. I have heard she appears in the living room but I also have heard she appears in her bedroom as well.
EDIT - So far this is not true. NO GHOSTS!

6.) PHONE BOOTH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT - There is a phone booth that constantly rings in the desert but as soon when you pick it up nobody is on the other line!
EDIT - FAKE

7.) SERIAL KILLER BURIAL SPOTS - Around the desert there are a few holes in the ground that are full of body bags.
EDIT - CONFIRMED. Check around El Castillo Diablo for it.

8.) SUICIDAL PEDESTRIAN - This has been confirmed in a EGM mag. There is a map of the location in pg. 3 of this thread. The ped is across the street from the trailer park where the monster truck is. It will take a couple of pictures and then walk into the ocean and drown.

Dude, that is sweet!

Not really on topic but look at some main characters (and probably secondary) licence plates (nothing shocking).

Oh! and thoes lights in the sky is probably the missiles from the Restricted Area. Isn't Area 69 that part of that talk show radio station?

a waht animation? basically all you would need to do is edit a ped, change his set path, and voila, a bigfoot!

those lights in the sky are bad renderings of airplanes..... time got short for R* so they made dots (because that was planes look like from the ground) and a trail behind them (because planes usually leave smoke trails) r* just didnt think about the posibility of some 10 year old playing it and not understanding how games are made.....

While we're on the subject of weird things....
In one of the small towns outside of Los Santos there is a church with a grave yard. According to my brother (a crazy Michael Jackson fan, like the ones you see in documentries) the lay out of the graves is the same as in the music video for "Thriller", and the large grave is open like in the video. I've yet to check this out and compare them exactly but I'll look it out if nobody else has.

Thouse bags aren't some serial killer burial spots. If you saw gta san andreas introdution movie, you should know about it. In the one part of the movie 2 members of mafia (don't know really from witch mafia, but it looks like from forrely mafia) throving black bags with bodies. So i don't think it's a secret at all.

i read in a mag that that guy was in it and he was around the same area as bigfoot but its a fake
