While the ferry can come in handy as a form of public transport, you'll probably not consider Liberty City's water to get your way round with the two boats below. The reefer are very slow and the handling is poor, but the speeder is a lot faster and is seen in many missions during the game.

| Air Vehicles |
|---|
It was only known a few weeks after Liberty City Stories' initial launch that the game contains air vehicles that you could actualy fly. While it was not intended to actualy be in the game, Edison Carter's cheat device makes it possible to spawn these. The helicopters can all fly, but the dodo can't even seem to drive on land - so no flying with this one unfortuneatly. According to certain "sources", Liberty City Stories was initialy built upon Vice City. That could explain why the Vice City News chopper somehow got into the game ;) .

If you need to get from one place to the other without driving yourself, you could use either the ferry (to travel by water) or the monorail that takes you around Portland Island (by train). You could also use the underground system that takes you around Liberty City. Different parts of the underground tunnel are unlocked as you progress in the game.
