Yes its weapons, what are GTA without them? Whether on a mission, a car chase or being pursued by 9 members of the FBI, any GTA game and player needs them, in a gaming environment of course. Liberty City Stories is most certain not an exception, you will yet again enjoy a set of guns at your disposal to rock about Liberty City. The game features 30 different weapons and with this huge amount we will most likely see several "weapon sets". The weapons listed below were mentioned in several magazine and online previews from around the world and seen on Ammunation.net. As more is revealed from other media sources and from the great folks over at r*, this page will most certainly be updated as they emerge.

Chisel: The Chisel is a very lethal weapon and can be very dangerous. It will be used a lot during infiltration missions and is a good weapon to use without attracting any attention from the people close by.

Chainsaw: Just another hardware store away the chainsaw is a very handy tool. Wheter you want to wreck a car or wreck someone with it, this sure is a very fun weapon.

Katana: Very, very lethal! If you see someone running towards you with one of these, you better run. However this is also available to you, so you can have just as fun with this long, sharp katana!

Hockey Stick : There might not be a hockey ring around to take this to use, but the streets of Liberty City will make a fun arena! The opponent? Rival gang members and police officers of course.

Machete: If you thought the chisel can give a painfull stab, then watch out for the machete! Used often by the Columbian Cartel and is available at hardware stores accros Liberty City.

.357: Very similar to the Colt Python from Vice City. Most of the times it will only take one shot to take down an enemy with this strong weapon.

Pistol: The typical pistol is not one of the most powerfull weapons around and is used by most police forces throughout the city. However, if you only got a few bucks to spend and are in danger, it will be better than your avarage fist.

Tec-9: The Tec-9 will be used alot in the game and you would be able to run around while shooting. It is also very leight-weight and can be used in drive-by shootings.

Shotgun: Liberty City Stories features several types of shotguns. The basic shotgun will make jacking cars and robbing pedestrians fairly easy, but if you wan't to go extreme it would be advised to go for the Semi-Shotgun

Semi Automatic Shotgun: The Semi Automatic shotgun was first introduced in Vice City and was known to be very lethall. Killing enemies with these wont be a problem for this baby, however Toni will probably have to dig in deep to pay for this hefty weapon.

AK47: The AK 47 Assault Rifle is an old timer from Grand Theft Auto 3. It can come in very handy to take out large groups of enemies, but you most likely won't be able to run fast with this heavy gun.

Minigun: Don't let the name fool you. The Minigun is very heavy (and so is the price tag). Taking out large groups of people won't be hard for this gun, but blowing up cars is what this gun is made for.

Sniper Rifle : Wanna shoot off a few heads without being noticed? The Sniper Rifle is not a weapon you would use in a fight against large amounts of police officers and could be fun to shoot people from a far distance away without them knowing what hit them.

M4 Rifle: Some of the missions include infiltration missions and it sometimes requires to take out enemies without being noticed. The M4 is the ultimate rifle and will be used a lot during missions.

Flamethrower: Walking through the streets of Liberty City burning cars down and a few people to death? Now there is something you don't see everyday. One of the missions in GTA: San Andreas included using the flamethrower. It will be interesting to see if this weapon is going to be used in missions for Liberty City Stories or if it's just going to be another "Gun 4 Fun".

Rocket launcher : If you thought using a flame thrower inside a busy city like Liberty City, then you aint seen nothing yet. The Rocket launcher have always been known to be used a lot during missions, mostly taking out vehicles or large groups of enemies. Yet another heavy gun to carry with a heavy price tag.

Grenades: Grenades will come in handy when fighting with fellow rival gangs. It can be used to take out anything from vehicles to groups of people.

Micro SMG: The Micro SMG is a small, but yet lethall, weapon. For a few hundred dollars you can buy this weapon that will make fellow rival gangs run away like chickens.
